Columbus City Council To Hold Town Hall On Possible Flavored Tobacco Ban

City-of-Columbus

(Columbus, OH) -- Columbus City Council is planning a town hall next month, centered on a possible ban of flavored and menthol tobacco products.

The discussion is slated for October 25th. Former Mayor Michael Coleman is advocating for the ban, saying the flavored products target young people, along with low-income and African American communities.

A public hearing on the issue is also scheduled for November 9th.
